I guess it depends what casinos you’ve been using. All of mine are registered on companies houses I’ve found. Even if they’re not your bank should be able to provide you with wherever they’re registered and you should be able to find their service on whatever country they’re in

Aw yeah I have tracked down all of mine - I have harrassed them to the ends of the earth as well, but actually most aren't companies at all - they are shell companies used to launder money. There are literally tens of thousands of companies out there doing this - its a massive issue.

A real licenced UK Casino? If so, post their licence or name here.

Hi guys, recently had similar things happen to me and I luckily managed to find this thread . Over 20 payments across three different casinos. All of them refused to pay out after submitting ID etc. I've told my bank about what happened and they have raised the chargebacks under goods not received? I didnt lie about what happened and I told them they were for gambling but they didnt mention anything about having no chargeback rights as some others have said here?

Does anyone have any advice on what evidence I should send them ? Ive got to fill out a disclaimer which they are sending in the post, and send my own documentation back with it . I cant show the deposits in my casino account as they all got banned once I confronted them with the fake merchant stuff etc . Ive done some research on the merchants and tried reaching out but no responses as of yet .

Betable? What have you asked them? You won't be able to chargeback against UK casinos btw as they all must use the correct MCC 's.

I've got an update on my claims. I managed to get all of my money back either via charge back claim raised via my bank. Many hurdles but I managed to get by and win the claim (mastercard) and the rest were credited back by the gambling site.

Below is what I sent to the gambing sites and my bank for the charge back claim.

"Subject: Chargeback Request for Unauthorized Transactions (Elegro - Concord Market)

Dear XXX Customer Service,

I am writing to formally request a chargeback for recent transactions processed on my account by a merchant listed as NikoTPFConcord Market AKA Elegro*. These transactions were executed under fraudulent circumstances, and I believe they qualify for a chargeback under Mastercard’s and Visa’s chargeback rules.

As someone who has struggled with gambling addiction, I have been registered with GAMSTOP for over six years to block myself from accessing gambling sites in the UK. However, the merchant in question used deceptive practices to bypass these blocks by intentionally misclassifying the Merchant Category Code (MCC) in order to disguise the true nature of the transaction.

In this case, the MCC was misrepresented as relating to educational clothing services, which allowed the transaction to bypass my gambling restrictions. This practice, commonly referred to as "transaction laundering," is explicitly prohibited by both Mastercard and Visa regulations. According to Mastercard’s Chargeback Code 4840 ("Fraudulent Processing of Transactions"), this type of misrepresentation qualifies the transaction for a chargeback. Had the MCC been accurately set as a gambling-related transaction, it would have been blocked by the gambling restrictions applied to my account.

Additionally, Visa's rules on MCC misrepresentation fall under Chargeback Code 13.5, which also applies to cases where a merchant misclassifies a transaction to avoid legitimate restrictions. Both Visa and Mastercard’s rules are clear: merchants must use the correct MCC, and failure to do so opens them to chargeback claims.

The key reasons for my request are as follows:

Fraudulent MCC Coding: The merchant used an incorrect MCC to conceal the nature of the transaction.

No Goods or Services Received: I did not purchase any educational/clothing services as listed by the merchant. The funds were redirected to an online gambling site, and no actual goods or services were provided.

Violation of Mastercard and Visa Rules: Transaction laundering and MCC misrepresentation are direct violations of both Mastercard’s and Visa’s policies, specifically Chargeback Codes 4840 (Mastercard) and 13.5 (Visa), which support the reversal of such charges.

Given the circumstances and the clear violation of Mastercard’s and Visa’s rules, I kindly request that you initiate a chargeback for the full amount of the disputed transactions.

Please find attached the communication I have had with Elegro, where they instructed me to reach out to my bank for a chargeback.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I appreciate your swift assistance in resolving this issue.

Kind regards,

XXX"

Don't be a fool and use the money to gamble again. Trust me. This is your chance to have a second chance, don't blow it.

What bank is it though? All banks are interpreting these situations differently which doesn't help. Revolut for example will basically never or rarely chargeback for this.

No it wasn't anything like that they failed to close my account upon request .Did not ask for any documentation upon sign up allowed me to make numerous deposits Also graphics on a certain game was totally off compared to other sites .The reels when 3 scatter landed it would slip away .No kyc checks where performed or affordability checks done . I asked for a sars request and they sent me blank documents .I raised a complaint with Ukgc and they requested that I get a sars request so I asked for another one and I was basically told if I email them again it would result in possible legal action against me . I had to email them over 9 times to get them to close my account and they ignored every email .Still to this day no kyc checks are showing on any of my credit reports .If they where a responsible gaming operator I would have never been allowed to deposit over a certain amount without affordability check being performed within 5 hours I deposited a vast amount of funds .

Oh yes they will try anything - Kinguin are currently being investigated over how they sell gambling vouchers for instance. Not my case, but someone charged back and they disputed saying they were for a bunch of PC Games and nothing to do with gambling - stupidly the person still had account access and could prove they are for gambling. These companies are absolutely shameless, they prey on the vulnerable.

Right need advice i am now in process of FO ,The accessor told me that my bank had said that I turned off gambling blocks which is a pile of rubbish as I categorically told the bank under no circumstances are they to be removed and there is no gambling transactions since I raised the complaint ,The bank is also sort of trying to mislead the FO by telling them I have raised 2 fraud cases and numerous other transactions cases which is incorrect so I have had to screenshot everything and explain to Fo that it was originally raised as 1 fraud case denied then agreed it would be raised as chargebacks but never was and you can clearly see they kept cancelling it .I have just logged on to my online banking and yep that gambiling block has been removed I am seething what shall I do ? As I never removed it i am now concerned that the bank will not supply all the information that is required for the FO to make a impartial opinion but I know I categorically said to them that the gambling block was not to be removed under any circumstances

Good evening all.

just wanted to share my results that I’ve had from here.

made in excess of 50 chargebacks through my debit card, Barclays processed 20 of them, the other 30

they asked for further information but I didn’t know what to say so they got closed.

the other 20 have been successfully charged back as the merchants haven’t put any case forward so I’ve been refunded around £2500 which is good!

I’ve noted that some of the successful chargebacks ie WINTERMDSE were also rejected and not even sent for consideration, do you think it’s worth reaching out to the bank and asking them to reconsider the others they rejected?

or shall I let it be? I have in excess of £20k spent in 9 months so recovering 10% is great and better than nothing.

Thanks
