Casino Acting as Both Provider and Operator?

Have a question about how a casino like bitstarz.com is able to be both the provider and operator for some games? They openly will say that they are the provider for games they call "bitstarz originals". If true that would mean they are in full control of the game and they also are the operator of it. If it is a white label situation they refuse to disclose it when directly asked. When issues come up that they normally would contact the provider, they instead say their internal team will have to look into it.

Seems like this should invalidate their license but wanted to see if anyone knew more about this.

Hi, such a situation is possible that the casino has its own games. If the casino is the provider and operator of the games you mention, they can control them because the games run on their servers. However, if someone made the game for them, then it is like in the most of the cases and the game itself is controlled by the provider. 

As for the license, there is no reason for it to become invalid, because there would have to be a reason and the casino would have to do something it shouldn't.

I thought the reason the operator / provider realationship was setup to make it clear the Casino had no ability to affect the outcome of the game. If owning and operating their own game and there is no audits who is overseeing that?

Well, as long as the casino has its own games, the casino supervises them. This is not the case for games from other providers. But when I'm talking about their own games, as I said, when they are on their servers, they are in charge of them.
