Ladbrokes removal of games

I had been grinding Jammin Jars2 for a couple of months and thousands and thousands of spins later I had nearly completed Level 4 with just a couple of discs to go. I still would have to carry on to trigger the mega jar. I log in today and find this game had been removed. This was their answer and pointed me to the terms and conditions.

Surely the line in brackets is in breach of their own terms and conditions.

Can this be a complaint?. How can this be fair?. Can anything be done about it?

I feel so cheated as to me it is just theft from Ladbrokes having spent all that money and not being allowed to complete the game.

well, I'd say that the game may become restricted by the game provider, and in such a case, the game may disappear for players from restricted countries.

In this case, I think that your country should be mentioned in the list of restricted countries provided in the terms and conditions, associated with the PushGaming games (if I found the correct game). Can you check it, please?

I believe that this part "provided such changes do not affect games and/or bets already in progress" only applies to an active game session, so you can finish the current spin or bet, and after the round ends, the game will get disabled.

I must admit that I'm not familiar with this game and its architecture so I do not actually understand the part about level 4 and the mega jar. Is it some kind of progress that is saved and can be accumulated daily, for instance?

Yes that is the game. The line in the terms and conditions can be interpreted as bets already in progress because it can take months to complete. You have to collect discs each level that drop in the game randomly. When you have collected enough discs to complete level 4 any discs from then on can trigger the gigajar for a big bonus. The progress is saved each time so you can carry on where you left off (hence bets already in progress).

I would personally say that what you accumulate during the gameplay is not a bet actually, don't you think? It's some cumulated drop feature, so I think that this rule only resonates with bets in session and this is not the case.

Just imagine that the game has become restricted to players from the UK, the casino has to enforce this restriction so the game is not available to you. The casino should not let you play the restricted game because the game consists of such a feature. On the other hand, the game must not get unaccessible during your active bet session.

This is the way how I understand the part.

How about asking the casino about it? Or even the game provider.
