Curious if anyone has successfully got their money back after having it confiscated for breaching the maximum bet with an active bonus rule?

Well, I would say that it depends on the situation. If you breach the term just once by mistake, it is a big possibility the casino will pay you.

They offered me one free $30 spin on a slot machine and I hit the feature, won $1000.
Instantly started doing big bets as the wager was $40k (never thought I would have successfully wagered it) and I got through all of it. Managed to profit $63k but it was all confiscated the next day.
It definitely stings and after reading the other complaints I doubt I’ll ever see that money again. Just weird they can offer a $30 bet but you can’t bet higher then $5 haha

I assume you were not aware of the max bet limit; is that correct? It also sounds like you didn't mind because you did not expect such a stroke of luck. Ouch! I just wanted to express my best wishes for you. The truth is, almost every bonus comes with a prize, usually in the form of restrictive rules. But I do hope anyway.

The only chance I’d have is the fact that when you win on the free spin there’s no pop up to tell you that the winnings have a wager requirement.

Obviously, it is very convenient to say every time we are about to take a bonus we should consult its rules So, I won't say that. I just hate watching such an amazing win being spoiled by overlooked bonus terms...
