I have been playing "Poker Light". on bet22 which I have just found out is not licensed to offer their services to me in Germany. Recently money has gone missing and they dont have account statements to see inflow and outlflow of money into your account.

I have observed that during gameplay om poker light, the rules or outcomes of the game appear to change when a player is in a favorable position (see attached photos), which is unusual.

Essentially when the cards have been dealt you always get two options to purchase and additional two cards, although as you can see in the attached photos when i have a strong position it either says take winnings which is nothing or the bet cannot placed. Whenever i have a weaker hand there is always an option to purchase 2 additional cards. The case is pretty clear cut and they say are reviewing but im not holding my breath. anyone else encountered this.

I have many more screenshots although when I have been dealt a good hand in the running for a straight and royal flush im not offered 2 more cards to be purchased to go for the win. If you see the photos I have 4 of the 5 cards in the initial cards dealt. One screen shows the normal way of operation. As I was betting 10 euro hits the wins for a royal and straight flush were 5000 - 10 000 euros and it comes automatically as no win. absolute scam.

In this case another strong position I purchase one card high amount it loses and then the second card is offered at 114 euros and then it wont accept the bet, although it accepted the card just under 100 euros that lost

I was told they don't keep a game history of this particular game.

Hello, do you think asking the game provider for your rounds would help out? The company could also explain the selectivity of the card purchase options. In any case, since this casino is not licensed in Germany, I would find another one licensed under the GGL. No wonder you are concerned.

Initially they said to contact the games provider thinking it was an outsourced game. This game is bet22 own produced game. I contacted the company that must do the tech for them and they said there are no issues with the game. I am taking legal action as the amount I wagered in this game is quite large. Its stupid on my behalf although I finally realised whenever I had a very strong hand one card away from winnings of 5000 - 10000 euro the rules of the game changed suddenly.

However, there is not much else to do if the authority stays silent. I mean, are you aware of any other options?

Well, back to the game itself, perhaps the mechanism is set to offer those different options under certain circumstances. My impression was that it is a way to offer an additional chance for a weak-hand situation, and this option is not always available. If the company said the game was ok, perhaps it really was, but the feature eventually felt like changing the rules. It is just what I thought earlier; of course, I can be completely wrong.

Hi Radka, thank you for your response. I attached the rules of the game here and the rules say you have the opportunity to draw two extra cards on each flop. I have played many hands of this game before I started having suspicions and the only time I have witnessed the additional 2 cards not offered is when the player is one card of a royal flush, straight flush and four of a kind (the highest paying winning hands) after the flop. The photos at the start of thread highlight this. Not to worry I have actually got a team of experts willingly to dig deeper. I will share the results when we have some action.

Thank you for sharing the screenshots. I have reviewed the rules carefully, and I could not find any part that says players are entitled to "two extra cards on each flop." The text only says that you can continue to draw additional cards if you buy them, but it does not mention a set number.

From what is written, the rules describe a general possibility to purchase extra cards, without specifying "two" or tying it to each flop.

You are correct when it doesn’t specify the exact amount of card you can purchase although you have the right to Purchase additional cards, The initial 5 cards on all the examples above are in a position where additional card purchases could possibly Result in a substancial win. In these circumstances the provider doesn’t offer to purchase any additional where in the rules it states you should have the option. I have played many hands of this game and the only time purchasing the additional cards is not an option is when the player is in a position to win the top 3 payout winning hands.

Well, that, in my opinion, is similar to what I said earlier, that the game uses some sort of possible option but not always, perhaps as a way to provide a better chance for a losing hand.

I find this explanation to be logical. I did not see stated that you always have to have the same option of two cards.

Why would a player buy another card if you are in a winning position and can, in my opinion, end the game? Especially when bought cards have no impact on the win. Or am I getting that still wrong?

Definitely I have played over 5000 hands of this game so I was pretty well aware

of the game rules.. which have changed in the images provided.. if you can find reason I am being unreasonable I’m open to your response.

So if you see the examples the flop has 4 cards that could lead to a winning position, so you purchase additional cards to possibly win the hand, every other hand apart from the above you get the choice, why not with these hands which have the opportunity of high payout. There is nothing mentioned

anywhere if you draw 4 cards on the flop leading to a royal, straight flush or four of a kind they can refuse the right to purchase the additional cards offered with every other hand.

Points 4 and 5 of the rules of the game are the rules which was well aware of, the rules

dont mention anywhere a situation where you cannot purchase the additional cards mentioned in the rules. So I personally believe I was aware of the games rules before playing.

I encourage to be challenged on this before I escalate my actions any further.
