Something happened to the casinos....

Hi, I'm wondering whether anyone noticed that something definitely happened to the casinos - as they are NOT paying at all like before. I've been playing with several big casinos like 15 years and I always got something here and there. Well, not really any more.

Leading up to the US election - it was definitely bad-bad, no winning whatsoever. But now it's over and I believe the casinos are still not back to 'normal'.

Ok, I have no idea what the US election has anything to do with the online casinos - but that's what's happening.

Like King Billy - I've put in a lot of money in November - not a cent.

Fair Go casino - always had 100-200% cash bonuses with FS's. Now it's only 50% and of course never any winnings.

So basically I'm wondering whether anyone noticed this at all?

Hmm, I don't think it has anything to do with the election. I don't know what connection it would have at all.

Anyway, if you feel like you can't win, I'd definitely take a break. Casinos are for having fun and only losing what you can afford. And therefore a source of entertainment. 

In the end, the casino always has an advantage over the player, who will lose money sooner or later, so that's about all I would say.

Well, I agree with some of the comments that - 'casinos became greedier' and also maybe there is some sort of 'turning point' with the casinos... One thing is sure... after playing for the past 10+ years I definitely think that something happened with the casinos lately. I don't know what would that be as they still should make pretty good money.

The only reason I started this Chat was to see whether anyone else had the same experience lately???

I would not say the gambling will ever die out; for instance, as far as I can see around me, the poorer people get, the more dire the need for miracles crosses the minds. But perhaps the form will be different.

Perhaps it's a current sigh of the era we live in, or perhaps just a human nature pushing us to risk and also to be disappointed when our expectations are not met. 😀

I agree that gambling will never die out as it's human nature - it just had different terms during the ages. Most people like playing the odds. Gambling as such has quite a bad reputation in society nowadays - but believe it or not Melbourne Cup is a National Holiday in Australia. Really, so what's the difference? It's gambling all the same.

And,,people in general getting poorer should not affect the casinos as they are making their money anyway.

So it's a chain reaction - they are not paying as they used to, fewer and fewer people are playing. So??? Noone wins.

Im playing at Weiss for the last year or so and it's opposite lol. From 50% to 200%. I guess its differtent everywhere

Oh yeah, definitely. More bonuses are coming on socials. Tournaments have become more frequent, offering a chance to win extra (like a current winter themed).

Overall, more events are appearing there offering something new. These are things from the top of my head that I'm witnessing.

So... Are you saying that nowadays you have to be on 'social' AND/OR pay with crypto to be able to BE IN THE GAME with any casinos??? Well, that's certainly what my experience is lately.

I don't think so, but on the other hand, I see that many players know that crypto withdrawals should be the fastest. And that's why I think they have this idea that it's best to play in these casinos.

Hi, if you're feeling like this it would probably be best if you took a break. Gambling is supposed to be a sporadic form of entertainment and if you don't appreciate it, it's probably best to try not to play for a while. 

Anyway, do you get the feeling that this is the case in different casinos or just some? 

Well, even though I managed to have some winnings in the past week - allover I definitely feel that all casinos - NOT talking about crypto - pushed the break nowadays. I believe the best example is FairGo which up until a couple of months ago gave you 50-200$ bonus PLUS FS's. well, not any more... The max is 100% bonus with NO FS's and then 50% bonuses with FS's. Definitely a decline in the bonuses...

I guess we'll see what happens in 2025???
