Ombudsman je užasan - prvo sam podneo zahtev sa moje MBNA kreditne kartice kod njih, a onda sam išao putem MCC-a - blokiranje kockanja itd.
ali su je odbili - ombudsman me je kontaktirao i savetovao da moja žalba više odgovara pristupačnosti onoga što se dogodilo - kada sam je analizirao, MBNA je obradila transakcije u vrednosti od 80.000 funti u periodu od 2 godine.
pa sam se sada, po savetu ombudsmana, vratio u MBNA i pitao ih kako misle da mogu da priuštim ove transakcije, bukvalno hiljade nedeljno, kada su 2024. godine znali da sam zavisan od kockanja - ombudsman je rekao da to daje drugačiji pogled na to u odnosu na pogrešno MCC kodiranje - da idem putem nedostupnog neodgovornog kreditiranja.

Ombudsman is awful - I initially claimed from my MBNA credit card with them and went down the MCC route - gambling block etc.
but they rejected it - the ombudsman contacted me and advised that my complaint sits with more the affordability of what happened - when I broke it down MBNA processed £80,000 worth of transactions in a 2 year period.
so now on the ombudsman’s advice I’ve gone back to MBNA and asked them how they thought I could afford these transactions, literally thousands per week, when they knew in 2024 I was addicted to gambling - the ombudsman said it puts a different spin on it as opposed to incorrect MCC coding - go down the route of unaffordable irresponsible lending.
