I also wanna know, there are some casinos registered in Costa Rica, one I know doesn't have a license anywhere, but a business just being registered doesn't mean anything, tomorrow you could register a company if you wanted to. JPS is the gaming authority in Costa Rica and they just operate the national lottery, I have no idea if they regulate sites offering online gambling internationally, which I suppose they don't because I have never seen a single casino regulated by them. Hey there.

I just want to add that operating the casino from a certain country has nothing to do with the license - the way I see it. No matter where the casino is registered or where the owner group comes from, when it comes to the license, casinos are or are not licensed at all. 🙂 Hence any license is better than nothing. However, there are some fair casinos missing the license completely. I guess there is always some exception!

Thank you for mentioning this point though I'm not familiar with the JPS myself.

What I don't get my head around is how Curazao regulators issue licenses, I know some casinos got Curazao licenses but said casinos operate from another country through a shell company, which is really shady (not saying this is the case with Metaspins, just pointing it out). What you said is true: it doesn't really matter what the license or what the origin of the casino is, some can be good even without a license, truth is one unlicensed casino is the one that has treated me the best while properly "regulated" Curazao casinos were the ones treating me the worse so far. To be honest the only off putting thing I have seen about this particular casino is what Username2024 said, which is enough to go ahead and close the account I got there, didn't have a bad experience there tho.

Additionally, there is a master license that allows companies to license all brands just under one license (this is the way I feel it works - can be complicated though), sometimes it makes players nervous, because the master license owner may actually be a different company that is stated as an owner in terms and conditions.

I'm not surprised you were occasionally treated worst in the licensed casinos. Sadly, some players see the Curacao licensed casino as much more dangerous places than the unlicensed ones.

My first experience with crypto casino.


Yesterday 7 March 2023 I made a deposit to Metaspins casino 420 USD  (0.0189 BTC) played Nolimit city video slots and won 9000 USD , I have completed wagering requirements.


I made withdrawal request 9500 USD (0.43 BTC). After about 5 minutes I received KYC email (Withdrawal request was canceled.), I followed link in email and have successfully verified my account.


I made another withdrawal request and after 5 minutes I got email stating that my account is closed, my withdrawal has been cancelled and your balance confiscated.


No evidence from casino received , just email that this is Metaspins casino final decision.

They accuse you of multi accounting, to me they should provide evidence on said accusation, for example, giving you the email used for the multi account, the device used to log in and the IP address from the "other" account, I don't see any of these things. Have in mind that if you opened more than one account it's clearly bonus abuse, but if you can guarantee you never opened more than 1 account then the casino has no evidence to back their claim, so you can file a complaint and come ahead since the casino confiscated your funds for no real reason. I have seen cases of casinos accusing players of multi accounting to not pay them out, and I can't tell if this is the case, can you clearly tell you NEVER opened more than 1 account? Maybe someone else in your household got an account there (?), if you never opened more than 1 account and no one else in your house got an account there, it definitely means the casino wants to scam you.

Seems like small casinos do not pay big winnings, but Metaspins casino is not small, it has around 200 active players everyday. Unfortunately there is a high risk when You play ONLINE casino - scam can happen 🙁

I believe you. Mostly because I doubt anyone can think opening more than one account on a casino is remotely a good idea, who would put money in risk knowing multi accounting is so easy to identify? Also I have been mistreated and scammed specifically by Curazao casinos, so yes; it's a normal occurrence. I would recommend you filing a complaint against the casino here in guru, that way if the casino doesn't want to provide any evidence to you, they will have to provide their evidence to guru and they will check it, if the casino doesn't reply to the complaint it simply means it's a scam, making fake evidence is possible but it could be identified, so the casino will have no other options but paying you out or backing their claim or refusing to solve anything and getting their rating lowered, for an unsolved complaint with 9k in dispute the rating do get lowered, especially when it's a casino with a shady regulator. Thank god some time ago I closed the account I had with this casino. File a complaint, maybe it helps.

I've noticed that quite often when a player is caught trying to 'beat the system' the first thing they often tend to do is to spread massive amounts of incorrect information to make casinos look like villains.

If indeed you are correct about everything then yes I would agree its very bad, but incase their systems alerted them of someone trying to abuse a welcome offer by signing up multiple times using the same ip adress, same device or another device but in any way use the same information etc then its just another user caught trying to smear a bad rumor about a casino due to his/her own wrongdoings.

I have only one account in Metaspins casino. My account was registered at home on my personal computer. In my household only I have access to my computer and I have only one computer and one mobile phone which i used to complete KYC.

I just posted to warn other people that Metaspins casino in my case NOT pay winnings. You can still deposit and maybe in Your case will be different scenario. I started a thread at bitcointalk forums in Scam Accusations , lets see what Metaspins casino is going to respond.

File a complaint. Yesterday I replied to you but for some reason the reply was never posted. By filing a complaint the casino will have to share their evidence with guru, since they don't provide you with any evidence, they will have to share it with guru and they will determine if there was a breach of their T&C or not.

I feel it would be good to say we will consider all pieces of evidence via your recently submitted complaint. Do not worry about that.

Until those pieces of evidence are checked with the casino, I guess we all need to wait for that.

I checked your complaint briefly and find you stated the welcome bonus is automatically applied to all newly created accounts. How do you know that for sure, please? Is it stated somewhere in the terms and conditions?

The welcome bonus is not automatically added to users by default, there's a option to claim the offer or click "i don't want a bonus"

Radka, when You register and go to Cashier to make a deposit there is a green slider button. By default it is switched ON, but You can manually switch it OFF. Many players do not notice that slider and take the bonus by default and them complain in chat that they have to complete wagering requirements.
