Straight from Mastercard T&Cs. This was used recently by a lawyer to pursue Santeda with Mastercards fraud teams. I can't post everything related to this yet(like the emails/formal demands) but should be able to in a day or two.
The legal basis for this is the fact that for any gambling transactions of any kind with Mastercard a Special Merchant Category needs to be setup. If there is no SMC then it is "illegal to accept transactions related to gambling" - these are Global T&C's. As you can see, it is very difficult to set an SMC up!
This proves beyond doubt that what these sites are doing is 100% illegal for anyone, including Casino Guru, that had any doubts.

You need to pursue them. Complain, do everything you can. Mastercard won't look at individual issues normally. They are acutely aware of the press around this issue though so pursue Revolut as much as you can - quote news articles etc.

Also, if you can prove beyond doubt that goods and services were not received they have to attempt to charge it back. There are cases against them with FOS currently where they have refused to chargeback so be interesting to see what happens.

A sada bi transakcije s karticama dolazile pre godinu dana, tako da bi bilo dosta van vremena od kada sam prvobitno podigao, a oni su odbili da pomognu. Još uvek imam svoj slučaj ombudsmana, ali opet nemam puno nade u to.
I made a second formal complaint and the outcome was a copy/paste of my first complaint outcome. And now the card transactions would be coming up to a year ago so would be well out of time from when I originally raised and they refused to help. I still have my Ombudsman case but again I don’t hold much hope for that.
