I asked bitsent to block all transactions with my card to them and their partner companies a month before i made high value deposits and they ignored me and still didn't hold responsibility! I think I stand a chance with them definitely, natwest didn't respond to my emails mentioning a gambling addiction and transactions laundering around the same time so I hope that plays in my favour.


Any advice on what to mention in my complaint to the bank please? Greatly appreciated

I reckon they will reject mine as while back I had one refunded straight away yet this one is taking a while

I mean they rejected my complaint twice so might be better asking someone else but i basically told them what happened, i deposited, they wouldn't allow me to withdraw my money (they had sepa and crypto, i don't use crypto and sepa didn't work with either of my bank accounts, tried requesting a refund and they declined on the grounds that they're unable to operate to UK customers), later found out they were unlicensed after digging into the company, aswell as using third party merchants, wrong MCC, and are prohibited from operating to UK customers, on top of their previous fines for illegal practices, all they heard was that i gambled despite the MCC not being gambling, i stated i received no goods, digital or otherwise in line with the MCC they provided and they just quoted gambling ToS to me, second time when i appealed the decision they didn't even bother going through the evidence i sent, just sent the same thing they sent the first time. I think the banks just want to wash their hands of it if possible, hopefully the ombudsman does something about it.

Yeah, i think the best bet is to go through the FOS, the banks seem like they'll brush it off with whatever ToS they can quote

This was wise bank I was not Nat West my bank i just highlighted my situation etc as per previous comments it was not anything professonal or anything just worded in my own fashion

Hi everyone lovely to see so many of you sticking together helping each other with your individual cases and situations keep it up.


i have had a response from wintermads and kasha both declining, one stating I bought digital art and received it. Halifax have been appalling through the whole process so I have sent my case to an ombudsman. Any idea on how long it usually takes for them to get back to you? I have everything wrote down regarding dates and total transactions per payment name on my bank statement is there anything else I could get ready for when the ombudsman responds?


I feel like giving up on everything now 🥺

It really depends on how busy they are, you may find that it is quick in one case then slow on another.

I would usually say that they make initial contact with you/bank in 6-8 weeks but that’s only on experience and not a definitive timing. Then after the initial discussions it varies sometimes as long as 3 months for decision from the investigator, then if either side contest that it gets sent to ombudsman to decide, again pick anytime up to/over 3 months.

Hi mate, been following this thread for a while I'm in the process of all of this.


I have around 10k worth of deposits from pixelum, finnart.io, nicotpf and zpay...


All of this is going on at the minute with chase bank, did you say you actually got a chargeback for pixeleum as at the minute chase are saying they can't do nothing as its gambling related and I'm trying to tell them the merchants are not.


I'm now going down the route of both of these are crypto/NFT based and should have been blocked by chase.

I am finding the whole process really draining. Have you been successful with anything so far? I have worked endlessly to get the bank to realise the faults of the codes. I dunno wether I should just give up on it all.

Hi mate,


Who do you bank with do they allow crypto payments? I'm with chase and they obviously block all crypto related payments.

If wintermads said you brought and received digital art and received it then to receive this you would need a blockchain which is crypto related.

If you forward this onto your bank then surely that's proof the bank have let you deposit to a crypto related site and therefore warrants a chargeback/refund.

I wrote to the casino support and asked them about the „receipt", they sent me everything.

I sent to the ombudsman „receipt" and screens from the bank account.

That's who I'm disputing with at the minute so far:


Windermads emailed regarding pixeleum and finnart.io and have had a response off them this morning asking for statements.


Elegro emailed regarding nicotfp no response


Donbet said compliance team are looking into it but getting no response at all now.


Chase bank saying they can't do nothing as its gambling related, currently gone back into dispute saying the merchants are crypto/NFT related.


Any help would he great
