I have used this template and sent it to the casinos concerned and also the payment providers,and the company’s that I have located. So far I have received full refunds from two company’s agreed a settlement with a casino that has permanently banned me from all their sites and made me sign a legal document stating that I wouldn’t take things any further and pursue their sister sites.


I also bank with Monzo but I have not had much joy with them could you possible add what you said to them.

Hi Sutton.

Thank you for the above, I have emailed the support team of the casino with the above template, fingers crossed I get somewhere with them but have also started a chargeback process anyway.

Monzo was actually really quite easy, in the application you are able to report problems with transactions and fill out the steps in app, processed an automatic refund to me within 30 minutes. This being said, in app it shows that they may need to take the money back from me on the 4th July if they side with the other party.

Sadly, most of my transactions were with Chase UK and they don't seem to be as easy to file and process.

How long after the transactions did you contact Monzo to request a refund ?

Hmm, not very helpful at all. I will try to ask my bank if they can give me more companies name from the above descriptors I listed in my original post and will relay back if I hear anything. It's worth giving the chargebacks a shot anyhow, you never know.

This one appears to be ukrainian that I've contacted but had no luck so far but only emailed yesterday.

Will provide updates shortly, however I believe that UK would be easier as there are way more rules and regulations, these companies simply dont care about us problem gamblers and it is predatory, I like to think we are causing them frustration by filing these things no matter if we see our money back.

Hi

When Paying by debit card they use Elegro who process the payments through a third party. When paying by sepa the payment always states the company name Santeda International BV which is the company that owns Velobet (so legit)


I emailed them on numerous occasions and it took time, buy eventually they offered me a refund as a good will gesture but as stated I had to sign a letter from their legal team stating that I would not pursue the matter any further. They never admitted liability only stating differences between the player and casino. As soon as I signed the refund I was paid and they banned me from all their casinos

Yeah payop is in the grey area, legitimate payment gateway but happily funneling money for illegal gambling sites. Highly illegal no matter what they say

That one sounds like a nightmare..

i have raised disputes with my banks and now also managed to find almost all of the payment providers with my banks help.

hopefully I get refunded soon!
